Are you a skilled Class A CDL driver looking for a rewarding career with a focus on safety and environmental sustainability? Clean Harbors is inviting you to apply for the position of Local Class A CDL Truck Driver. You will be operating a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at various customer sites, including working with vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role involves performing both driving and non-driving tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Requirements:
Hazmat endorsement required Travel:
20% overnight (hotel or sleeper option, per diem provided) Territory:
MT, ID, WY, UT Key Responsibilities: Pick up hazardous waste from refineries, laboratories, and clinics. Perform roll-off work, including loading and unloading materials. Operate commercial trucks while assisting field laborers in a team environment. Maintain proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations. Keep accurate daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Observe company safety and environmental health guidelines. Be available for emergency response on a rotating on-call basis. Engage in physical labor as needed to meet customer needs. What We Offer: Competitive pay range of $30-34 per hour. Ability to operate various mobile devices. Physical capability to perform job requirements. Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical. Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, including facial hair standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a commercial driver. Additional Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Prior experience in hazardous materials handling. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Experience in manual labor roles.
