Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of adult acute care and trauma experience for an evening shift assignment. Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting with adult acute care, outpatient, and ER/trauma patient populations Teaching hospital environment with Level 4 trauma designation Utilize Siemens MRI equipment for imaging procedures Five 8-hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM No weekend or on-call requirements, although on-call is available if interested Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as needed Epic (Excellian) EMR system is used and experience is required Perform MRI imaging for a diverse range of cases involving acute and trauma patients No weekend shifts required First-time travelers are not accepted Candidates should ideally request no more than 5 days off during the assignment Return staff must have been gone at least 3 months from last perm shift Dark gray scrubs are required Free parking is available in any unrestricted space Pre-start modules are required and are eligible for a stipend Candidates must complete a Minnesota state background check with required fingerprinting Candidates may be required to float to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on facility needs Allina does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or for former perm employees Requirements Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in adult acute care and trauma settings Current ARRT-R, BLS, and valid state license required (license required if applicable) Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required Experience with Epic/Excellian charting required Pending state license accepted Locals are accepted for radiology positions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616829.
