This role blends hands-on patient care with professional medical receptionist responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Welcome and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude Manage front desk operations, check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification Maintain and update medical office records in the EMR system Perform basic clinical tasks: take vitals, record medical history, prepare patients for exams Support physicians by assisting during procedures and updating documentation Keep track of medical supplies and ensure equipment maintenance Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance Deliver exceptional customer service and teamwork across departments Qualifications Medical Assistant certification required Prior medical receptionist or front desk experience preferred 2–3 years in a medical office or healthcare setting Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred At Doral Health & Wellness, we believe every Medical Assistant, medical receptionist, and front desk team member plays a vital role in the patient experience.
