Overview

Job Title: Mobile App Manual Tester (USA Only)

Contract Duration: 1 Month (with potential extension)

Workload: ~1 hour daily (more on first 1–2 days)

Payment: Monthly contract + reimbursement for in-app subscription charges

About the Job

We are looking for a manual mobile app tester based in the USA to test three iOS apps:

• Body Editor – App Store Link
• WiFi Phone Calls & Text SMS – App Store Link
• Text Yourself Chat Story Maker – App Store Link

Our main goal is to understand why users request refunds and to identify potential usability, onboarding, or subscription flow issues.

Responsibilities

• Download, install, and subscribe (trial/purchase) to each app.
• Test onboarding flows and verify how smooth subscription setup is.
• Use the app like a normal user would:
• For WiFi Call app → Test calling, SMS, and features.
• For Text Story app → Create fake conversations and stories.
• For Body Editor app → Try editing features as a user would.
• Report any confusing paywalls, bugs, crashes, or UX issues.
• Provide feedback on factors that could lead to refunds.
• Perform daily tests (~1 hour) to ensure apps continue working normally.
• Submit findings in a Google Sheet (daily reports).

Ideal Candidate

• Based in the United States (mandatory).
• Owns an iPhone/iPad with latest iOS.
• Prior experience in manual QA testing or mobile app usability testing.
• Able to communicate findings clearly in English.
• Comfortable with daily reporting in Google Sheets.
