Warehouse Lead - 2nd Shift at Coca-Cola Consolidated in Charlotte. Pay Range: $23.65 - $25.47 hourly, depending on experience. Schedule: 2nd Shift Receiving Lead, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM; will work closely with raw materials and production teams while leading a group of 8-10 teammates. Weekends and holidays may be required to accommodate business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and directs the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations.
  • Verifies and ensures all applicable warehouse processes are followed, including damaged product check-in, and other areas as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisors.
  • Trains and leads Warehouse Personnel and evaluates processes, striving for continuous improvements.
  • Communicates with Warehouse Management and Personnel regarding process improvements, quality, and Out-of-Stocks (OOS), among others.
  • Leads and models the safety culture and strives for 100% compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Supports, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating goals, safety practices, and deadlines; coaches and trains teammates; implements continuous improvement while maintaining customer focus; upholds company purpose and values.
  • Assists in interviewing potential candidates and influences management on performance matters. May perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task; strong written and oral communication; computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to walk and repetitively lift up to 30 lbs, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team, coordinate efficient processes, adapt to various work areas, read computer instructions, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate in a noisy and non-climate controlled environment; proactive self-starter with initiative; flexible with schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack, Forklift, Double Forklift, Hy-Jaws, Ty-Guard, Triple/Double, Switch Tractor, and Floor Scrubber

Work Environment

Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
