Experience closing is preferred.

Job Summary

We seek a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team at the Fennec. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our customers a wide variety of drinks while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience closing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Take drink orders and serve beverages to customers
  • Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and other bar supplies
  • Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
  • Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations
  • Engage with customers to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience
  • Provide recommendations for drinks and food items to customers
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth bar operations

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and drink recipes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
