Job Summary

To assist in moving materials as required from the warehousing area to various departments and Production and Packaging as well as from Production and Packaging back to the Warehouse. In addition, general warehouse duties such as material movement, shipping, receiving, and storing functions.

Area Of Responsibility

• Perform the physical tasks involved in material movement, receiving, shipping and storing of all materials.
• Utilize SAP to accurately reflect physical storage and maintain physical accuracy of all components and raw materials.
• Pick/Put away material in designated system locations.
• Use power equipment such as forklift, stand ups and other devices used in warehouse environment to load, unload, move, stack and transfer materials.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Demonstrate GMP and GDP (Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices).
• Unpack and check materials received against Purchase order/invoice, maintain record of received goods and inform Manager if any discrepancies are found in received printed packaging.
• Makes appointments with vendors/trucking companies.
• Perform inventory adjustments according to established limits.
• Process/monitors warehouse damages including performing of SAP scrapping transaction and RGM form creation.
• Teaches/mentors less experienced operators key and essential skills.

Work Conditions

• Environmental related to manufacturing/production/warehouse environments: noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear; stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push and bend.
• Lift and move up to 50–75 pounds; move pallets/equipment weighing 100–300 pounds using pallet jacks/Hi-Lo.
• Navigate office, lab, warehouse and plant floor environments; wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., respirators, safety glasses, safety shoes).

Education And Job Qualification

• Minimum of High School/Trade School/Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Able to operate essential Receiving Equipment and perform basic SAP transactions.
• Able to perform CTPAT inspection, calibration of weighing machines, and cycle counts via Teklogic interface.
• Able to drive all trucks including turret, standup, and sit down.
• Knowledge regarding material destruction and calibration of weighing machines; intermediate troubleshooting skills.
• Able to use power equipment such as forklift and other devices used in the warehouse environment to load, unload, move, stack, and transfer materials.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); English proficiency at least Basic – A2 level (CEFR).

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of Warehouse experience including fork truck operations.

Compensation And Benefits

The anticipated base compensation range is $20/hr to $23.93/hr. Actual base salary may vary based on location and experience. In addition, the position may be eligible for incentive plans.
