Hourly Rate: $17.00

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
  • Scanning items into the warehouse management system
  • Inspecting stock for damages and keeping records of damages
  • Organizing the warehouse space
  • Preparing and picking orders for shipment
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Operating stock management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records
  • Performing routine cleaning duties
  • Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized
  • Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10–50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
  • May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather, not necessarily from temperature changes
  • May be required to operate in narrow aisles or passageways
  • Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Attention to detail; strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with others
  • Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime
  • 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse; maintain and promote workplace safety
