Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Location: Greeley / Wheatridge, CO

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (Based on experience)

About The Role

We’re seeking a dependable and safety-minded Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in operating various types of heavy machinery, particularly in an oil and gas or construction setting. While this is a temporary position to start, there is strong potential for long-term employment based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a range of heavy equipment, including but not limited to front loaders, trackhoes, mini excavators, and cranes
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Load, transport, and unload materials to designated areas
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
  • Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Report mechanical issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel for repairs

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ year of recent experience operating heavy equipment
  • Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred, or willingness to obtain
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures
  • Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks in varying weather conditions
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
