About The Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a remote capacity within the U.S. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our HR strategies, programs, and initiatives aimed at fostering organizational growth and employee engagement. The HR Generalist will work closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, and managers to deliver innovative HR solutions that align with business objectives. This position involves managing employee onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR data and reporting, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws. The role requires a proactive approach, independent thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively address employee concerns, support HR initiatives, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide tactical solutions.
- Preferred: Experience with HRIS platforms such as UltiPro and ICIMS.
- Preferred: Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support HR strategies and initiatives to promote a culture of engagement, innovation, and flexibility aligned with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with divisional leadership, HR teams, and cross-functional partners including Finance and Security.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support people-related programs, policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Analyze and report on key HR metrics, providing insights to HR Business Partners and business leaders for strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance HR procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support employees with Leave of Absences, including Medical, Family, Military, and Personal leaves, in coordination with HR Business Partners.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data within HRIS systems.
