Base pay range
$20.50/hr - $21.50/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to customers at Checkout and/or Returns.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area; process Price Checks and assist with transactions as needed.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Support Front End operations as a Head Cashier by expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues and assist in supervising, coaching, and training other Front End Associates by participating in cashier training and using available coaching tools.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of cashier experience.
