Position details
- Position Purpose: Cashiers provide checkout and/or return processing, monitor the Self-Checkout area, and identify selling opportunities by gaining product knowledge. They follow policies to minimize shrink. A Head Cashier may assist by expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers and related areas, and providing first-level escalation for customer issues. They may supervise, coach and train Front End Associates and participate in cashier training using available tools.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of cashier experience.
Responsibilities
- Process Checkout and Return transactions accurately.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues.
- Assist in training and coaching other Front End Associates.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of cashier experience (preferred).
