Parking Garage Attendant/Cashier

Overview

ASM Global is hiring for the Parking Garage Attendant/Cashier role in the Operations department. This position supports safe and efficient operation, directs traffic, and provides customer service in the parking garage.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic in the garage and direct customers to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Keep the garage free of debris and report incidents that may affect operations.
• Count and verify the bank; reconcile bank and tickets sold at the end of the day.
• Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with disruptive customers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills; able to assist guests and address concerns.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior cashier experience is helpful.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Position may be confrontational.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Effective communication and guest assistance.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

Physical Demands

This position is exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.). Requires the ability to sit in a booth for extended periods, stand, and walk around the parking garage.
