Position Overview: Your job as a cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. You will operate the cash register, process payments, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front store area, and answer customer inquiries by phone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including returns and yard sales.
• Accept and handle payments, give correct change.
• Communicate with team members using walkie-talkies.
• Keep the register area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Gain product knowledge to assist customers and identify sales opportunities.
• Assist with carry-out services, return shopping carts, handle returned or abandoned merchandise, and maintain cleanliness of the store area as time permits.

Qualifications & Education:

• Prior register experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong desire to work with people.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Customer service experience.
• Helpful, courteous, and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain in one spot for extended periods.

Additional Information: Hours vary based on shifts; Saturday availability is highly preferred. This is an entry-level, part-time position in the retail industry.
