Responsibilities
- General cleaning of building and keeping it maintained and in good condition
- Clean break room including but not limited to wiping down all tables and chairs, removing all trash from tables, mopping floors, cleaning windows and empty all trash containers
- Clean bathroom including but not limited to wiping down counters, wiping down all toilets, urinal, stalls, mirrors, walls and sinks, mopping floors, and removal of trash
- Restock all paper products in bathrooms
- Clean offices and hallways on the Mezzanine including but not limited to removal of trash, sweeping or mopping floors, cleaning windows seals and remove any cobwebs from area
- Clean steps and handrail using proper tools
- Clean the main aisleway using a ride-on floor scrubber
- Properly clean the ride-on floor scrubber after each use
- Cleaning smoking area including but not limited to removing and cleaning up all trash including cigarette butts and wiping down all the tables
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
- Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs needed
- Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Complete other janitorial duties as assigned
Education / Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Communication Skills / Requirements
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.
Safety
All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines and safety policies.
PPE
MUST wear ear plug hearing protection and safety glasses in designated areas.
