Status: Non Exempt/Part-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow directions
• Minimum one-year maintenance/janitorial/custodial experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive and professional attitude
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Attention to detail and efficiency
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and successful completion of the Salvation Army fleet safety course
• Criminal background check clearance
• Completion of Salvation Army Protect the Mission online training

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail restrooms daily, restocking supplies
• Maintain hallways, clutter-free
• Clean light fixtures, replace bulbs, including emergency exit lights
• Polish baseboards
• Set up/take down tables and chairs as directed
• Clean entrance doorways and glass framing
• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, playgrounds, curbs, and courtyards
• Empty trash cans inside and out daily
• Sweep, vacuum, and wax floors
• Dust fixtures and equipment
• Keep work area safe and tidy
• Perform minor maintenance tasks
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform duties with or without accommodations, including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. Visual and operational skills include close, distance, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and computer operation.
