Overview

Provides custodial services to all Grand Canyon West locations and facilities. Typical duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, maintaining clean restroom facilities, and trash collection. Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition and uses proper safety procedures when handling chemicals. General maintenance of grounds and detailing of fleet vehicles. Provides quality customer service at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain clean floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping at all Grand Canyon West locations.
• Clean and sanitize all restroom facilities and equipment; break room facilities and equipment.
• Restock all supplies in restrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans, replace liners and maintain clean receptacles.
• Answer visitor/tourist questions, provide information about GCW, the Hualapai history and culture.
• Dust and clean office desks and furniture, clean windowsills and maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. Label, dilute and use all chemicals properly. Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Detail fleet vehicles.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
