TWIN PEAKS JOB DESCRIPTION: JANITOR/BUSSER

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This job requires the Twin Peaks Janitor, Busser to clean and maintain the Twin Peaks restaurant. Each team member is defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline when it comes to keeping his/her restaurant clean and sanitized.

THE UNIFORM

  • Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times. Brim never bent.
  • Hair must be kept clean. All hair must be kept underneath the TP hat.
  • Clean shaven. Beards & mustaches are allowed, but must be maintained.
  • Fingernails must be kept trimmed.
  • Jewelry is not allowed to be worn in ears, face, around the neck or wrists.
  • Headphones or ear buds are not to be worn.
  • Clean non-faded/wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of a Twin Peaks Janitor Busser include, but are not limited to:

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized restaurant following policies and procedures
  • Keeping stations and equipment clean and organized
  • Following HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements
  • Working effectively as a team
  • Training using tablets or computer
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Performing any other duties assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a Janitor Busser.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate in English and understand cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple instructions; handle standardized situations with minimal variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Attend orientation, agree to policies, complete training prior to shifts, and obtain any required local or state certifications such as food or alcohol service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand, walk, handle objects, and communicate effectively. Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Visual abilities include close, peripheral, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to kitchen fumes, humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and possibly cigarette or cigar smoke in designated smoking areas. Accommodations available for disabilities.
