Housekeeper Part-time - Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Centers – Canton

Schedule: Part-time 11:00am-7:00pm, Every other Weekend (other scheduled days discussed upon hire)

Job Summary: As Housekeeping you will be part of our team whose liveliness, imagination and communication are valued and rewarded. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to their work, able to work independently, and detail oriented.

Housekeeping Duties & Responsibilities

• Dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, general areas
• Maintain a clean & safe work environment in compliance with State & Federal laws & regulations.
• Follow Facility policies & procedures
• Attend required staff in-services
• Other duties as assigned

Housekeeping Requirements

• Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current identification.
• Excellent personal hygiene.

Experience

• Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel environment is preferred
• Prior experience with Isolation / Infection control is preferred
