Siouxland Community Health Center is looking for:

• 1 Part-time Pharmacist (hours include some evenings until 8PM and occasional Saturdays)

Successful candidates must have:

• Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Valid pharmacy license in the State of Iowa
• Preferred: previous retail pharmacy experience
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Primary responsibilities include:

• Compounding and dispensing prescribed medications
• Reviewing prescriptions and determining formulas
• Providing information on drug interactions, side effects, and storage
• Overseeing pharmacy staff engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling
• Maintaining quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste
• Advising providers and clinical staff on drug activity and dosage
