Join to apply for the COOK-Part Time role at Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. Location: Connellsville, PA | Pay: $14–$18/hour (based on experience). Schedule: One weekday (8 AM–5 PM) + most weekends & holidays.

Do you love to cook? Thrive in a warm, community-focused environment? Want to make a difference in people’s daily lives through the joy of food? Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. (CRCSI) is looking for a Part-Time Cook to join our Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) Program.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, prepare, and serve delicious, nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  • Collaborate with a part-time kitchen teammate to manage weekly cleaning schedules and food rotation
  • Order supplies and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
  • Bring creativity and care to every plate you serve

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for cooking and baking — and a love for serving others
  • At least 1 year of kitchen experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of food prep and service standards
  • Serve Safe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain/maintain certifications: CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, Fire Safety
  • Clearances: PA State Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI DHS
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical and health screening requirements
