Overview
Part Sales Manager – Part Time at AutoZone. AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. Managers and MITs play a key leadership role, delivering WOW! Customer Service while executing store operations with excellence. Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership to support AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.
As a Parts Sales Manager, you will drive sales performance, foster a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional WOW! Customer Service experience in a vibrant automotive retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Leadership – Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high-performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.
- Communication – Maintain clear, effective interactions with customers and employees to ensure smooth store operations and positive experiences.
- Metrics – Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.
- Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Teamwork – Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
- Parts Sales & Inventory – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
- Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
- Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, upholding company policies.
Qualifications
- Leadership: Demonstrates integrity, decision-making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
- Flexible Schedule: Availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Exceptional and effective communication in both Spanish and English (preferred).
- Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail (preferred).
- Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification (preferred).
