Maxim Healthcare is hiring: Behavioral Therapist (Urgently Hiring) in Los Angele

Salary: $25 - $30 per hour

Part Time and Full Time Positions are available. We are urgently hiring registered behavior techs and behavior technicians, including entry-level, mid-level, and experienced individuals working in the behavioral field or seeking new opportunities.

We are looking for individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1:1 in a home setting with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with other mental and behavioral conditions. Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Assist with daily program activities in areas such as self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavior, as well as crisis intervention
• Aid clients with personal care activities, including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
• Collect and document data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in an educational or healthcare setting is preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children or adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred
• CPI Certification and RBT certification are preferred
