Responsibilities

• Accurate knowledge of AWS standard weld symbols and welding symbols.
• Work with AISC or ICBO standard procedures for fillet welds, groove welds, plug welds, slot welds, spot welds, seam welds, flange welds, stud welds, and surfacing welds.
• Demonstrate required skill levels for appropriate AWS certifications.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, welding equipment, and all related tools and equipment used in the fabrication process, including pneumatic and standard hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Practice safe-work habits and follow complex directions, instructions, and production communications.
