Job Details


Our Unit Secretary Will

  • Be responsible for performing administrative tasks for the nursing unit- including filing and organizing patient records/charts, managing inventory of office and medical supplies for the nursing unit, screening calls and visitors, answering inquires, and ensuring the delivery of mail and messages in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Perform hands on tasks involving patients, such as transporting patients, delivering specimens to the lab, and assisting with delivering meal trays to patients
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to meet the needs of patients and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
  • Provide excellent customer service


What You’ll Bring

  • Passion for Healthcare
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous clerical and customer service skills necessary
  • Basic computer skills
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required


Salary Range

USD $21.81 - USD $32.72 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
