GAT Sky Cafe is seeking dynamic, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team at Austin International Airport.
Role Purpose
Acts as a liaison with all department Managers in the Flight Kitchen and airline(s) regarding performance issues and customer requests. Responsible for coordinating and directing menu presentations, spec changes, and schedule changes with the airlines.
Main Duties
- Account management for all airline accounts, office supplies, auxiliary vendor accounts
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with assigned accounts and act as a liaison between the Flight Kitchen, airlines, and local operations
- Ensure accurate billing and provisioning to the airline
- Maintain daily par levels and inventory control according to customer standards
- Ensure equipment inventory is taken timely and accurately
- Ensure on-time departure of all flights using catering guidelines
- Support departments regarding airline cycle changes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customer specifications, policies, and procedures (FDA, HACCP, etc.) in cooperation with the Quality Manager
- Maintain customer specifications and monitor changes
- Consider airline measurement systems in each department
- Coordinate and participate in Flight Kitchen evaluations by the customer, distribute feedback, and ensure timely responses
- Monitor Flight compliance with airline safety expectations
- Develop and maintain flight attendant comment and delay database
- Support Food Department in menu presentations
- Assist with Chef tables and Food Safety
- Track quality scores
- Ensure par levels of local inventory and specific goods
- Participate in customer projects and leadership activities
- Organize, staff, and direct areas of responsibility
- Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees
- Participate in coaching, GPS process, and career development activities
- Implement company values and management principles
- Plan, implement, and control the cost budget; initiate corrective actions as needed
- Support initiatives such as Food Safety, HACCP, Employee Safety, etc.
