Cook – Premiere Qantas Lounges at LAX
Step inside one of the premiere spaces at LAX — the Qantas First & Business Class Lounges — where world-class service meets exceptional cuisine. We are seeking a skilled Cook who brings strong production ability, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality to our elevated buffet and à la carte service.

Pay: $21.86/hour.

Schedule

• Wednesday & Thursday: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Friday – Sunday: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Monday & Tuesday: OFF.

Your Role

In this role, you’ll do more than maintain a buffet — you’ll be part of a professional kitchen where quality and consistency matter. You will:

• Execute prep, production, and line cooking with efficiency and precision.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills and a solid cooking background.
• Ensure food stations remain stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
• Support menu execution and plating to fine-dining standards.
• Uphold strict food safety and sanitation practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Cook in an upscale restaurant, hotel, lounge, or catering environment.
• Confidence in knife handling, prep work, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• A collaborative, professional teammate who keeps service running smoothly.
• Preferred: ServSafe or Food Handler’s certification.
