The Opportunity

Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The role involves two different shifts; the morning shift replenishes product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specific area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the shift and maintaining department cleanliness.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store and includes physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. For information about accommodations, refer to the full Job Description located in the store.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
