North American Sales Manager, Medical Polymers
Join our innovative Medical Solutions team as a North American Sales Manager. We are seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate about driving sales growth, developing high-performing teams, and fostering strong customer relationships in the medical solutions market. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving our strategic growth targets.
What You Will Do
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets; foster a collaborative and motivating environment with clear expectations and ongoing feedback.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement robust sales strategies to expand market share for medical solutions; drive revenue and ensure profitable growth of the portfolio; collaborate with segment managers to identify opportunities and align resources.
- Key Account Management: Own and support key accounts, drive sustainable top-line revenue and profitable growth; build strong customer relationships and ensure superior customer service and fulfillment; coordinate resources across marketing, product, engineering, and operations to meet customer needs.
- Market Analysis & Business Development: Maintain awareness of market dynamics, evaluate competition, and identify opportunities for value creation; collaborate with marketing, R&D, and product teams to align sales efforts with business objectives and product innovation.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Lead annual sales plans and long-term forecasts by site, customer, and product SKU; track and analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership; adjust strategies based on data and feedback.
What You Need
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving targets, preferably in the medical device industry; experience managing key accounts and driving growth through strategic account management.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiating abilities; ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies; ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across multiple functions and regions; proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Other Requirements: Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time; persistent, motivated, and positive mindset with a strong drive for results.
