Saliense is hiring: Cybersecurity Reporting Specialist in San Francisco

Overview

Cybersecurity Reporting Specialist role at Saliense. This remote role is based in Arlington, VA with potential for remote work as part of the team.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to develop and maintain reports related to cybersecurity incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities, analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns and creating detailed reports for management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain dynamic dashboards using tools like SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and ServiceNow. Dashboards will provide visualizations and metrics on cybersecurity status across the enterprise, systems, and programs, utilizing data from sources including the agency\'s GRC tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Produce and deliver recurring weekly and monthly reports on the security status of all existing and new systems, including metrics such as system authorization status, POA&M details, and risk acceptance status. Create ad-hoc reports as requested by leadership.
• Work with data providers, end-users, and leadership to understand reporting needs, present proposed dashboards/reports for review and approval, and incorporate feedback to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual reporting efforts and continuously update dashboards/reports to align with the agency\'s initiatives and technology infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity reporting or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
