Overview

Medical Sales Representative, Atlanta for Beiersdorf. This field-based sales role covers Atlanta and North Georgia. The ideal candidate should reside in the Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply territory business plans and call on dermatologists to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with field-based teammates (Medical Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, Brand Manager, etc.) to drive promoted products to dermatologists within the designated geography.
  • Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Demonstrate integrity and accountability; build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Understand and utilize sales reports and forecasts; implement and execute key marketing strategies.
  • Maintain timely call reporting and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; travel as needed, including some weekends for corporate and medical conventions; travel outside base territory for company meetings as required.
  • Manage resources, including lifting and handling packages up to 30 lbs; manage storage units and large quantities of samples; typically 1-2 overnight stays per month.

Location

This is a field-based sales territory covering Atlanta and North Georgia. The ideal candidate should reside in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited university.
  • Minimum three (3) years of outside business-to-business sales or medical-related sales required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, iOS; ability to quickly learn sales tracking and reporting software.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Outside sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of consistent, documented high-level sales performance.
  • Recent working relationships with local dermatologists is a plus; bilingual is a plus.
