Director of Liturgy, Worship & Music
The St. Joseph Pillar of Families, Family of Parishes is seeking a Director of Liturgy, Worship and Music to assist the pastor in establishing policies and guidelines for liturgy, worship, music, and the sacraments.
The Director of Liturgy, Worship and Music will be responsible for coordinating all the liturgical aspects of parish life, ensuring the liturgical celebrations of the Family of Parishes are well prepared and celebrated, directing efforts in liturgical catechesis for the faithful, and overseeing the formation and training of lay liturgical ministries.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the liturgical staff, including music ministers and sacristans
- Managing the Liturgy, Worship and Music Teams in the Family of Parishes
- Articulating and implementing a clear vision/mission
Requirements include a degree in Roman Catholic Liturgy, Music, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field, as well as spiritual maturity, a strong prayer life, and the ability to articulate Church teaching and practice regarding the liturgical life. The candidate must also have experience mentoring and accompanying adults at different stages of the discipleship path and be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
