CareTen Inc. is seeking an Office Assistant / HR Executive to support recruitment, employee onboarding, and HR operations for field employees and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of CareTen, Inc.
  • Handle recruitment management—plan, prepare, conduct, and evaluate recruitment advertising as applicable.
  • Assess recruiting needs and target appropriate recruiting sources.
  • Develop a recruiting strategy including a quarterly recruitment plan and budget.
  • Recruit the appropriate number of field employees to meet the needs of current and future clients.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate recruiting sources including newspapers, magazines, mailings, career fairs, trainings, job posting websites, digital media, and others.
  • Hold open houses, attend career fairs, and participate in recruitment events within the proposed budget.
  • Monitor and evaluate all recruiting advertising by tracking and measuring ad results.
  • Promote CareTen as the employer of choice within the service territory.
  • Design and oversee employee retention programs.
  • Participate in decisions related to hiring and separation of employment for field employees.
  • Manage recruiting process from initial candidate contact to interview to onboarding.
  • Manage incoming candidate inquiries.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews in accordance with policy.
  • Obtain potential new hire information—references, licenses, background checks, etc.
  • Schedule orientation for approved hires and facilitate new hire orientation for field employees.
  • Enter information and update records through each phase of the hiring process.
  • Maintain knowledge of employee pay rates and benefits and communicate as necessary.
  • Oversee personnel file management, credentialing, and coordination.
  • Manage new hire process and maintain orderly personnel files.
  • Ensure all employee information is obtained in accordance with federal, state, and CHAP requirements.
  • Maintain database of employee and prospective employee information.
  • Coordinate annual performance evaluations with Client Service Managers and Director of Patient Services.
  • Manage employee communications such as garnishments, unemployment claims, disability, and reference checks, as applicable.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of field employee retention programs.
  • Perform related duties as required by Supervisor.
  • Oversee and manage service and employment-related content after normal business hours as necessary.
