As a Restaurant Busser, you will provide high-quality service to guests efficiently and courteously, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout your shift.

Scope of Work & Team

  • Reports to Hotel Manager and Food & Beverage Supervisor
  • Supports food & beverage team, catering, events, pool & bar

Responsibilities

  • Walk and stand throughout the shift, approach and serve guests professionally, and report issues to management.
  • Clear and reset tables, perform cleaning duties, and handle physical tasks up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors and service areas.
  • Know restaurant layout, menu, and specials.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
  • Follow all liquor laws and safety procedures.
  • Assist in food and beverage service, including refilling drinks and greeting guests.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism.
  • Use POS systems and handle basic financial transactions accurately.
  • Maintain personal appearance and regular attendance.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and attend meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Preferred: 1+ years in restaurant and hospitality roles.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Additional skills include knowledge of safety procedures, excellent customer service, communication skills, energy, organization, teamwork, multi-tasking, basic math, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Other Expectations

  • Adhere to company policies, safety, and security procedures.
  • Travel as needed for training and meetings.
  • Work primarily during standard business hours, with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.
