Graving Dock Marine Electrical Technician II
Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Graving Dock Marine Electrical Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Job Summary: The position will provide maintenance, repair, and technical support on graving dock electrical systems and components as a subject matter expert.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair a variety of graving dock machinery electrical systems and components.
- Monitor electrical systems for problems or abnormalities and perform corrective action as authorized.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical circuits across various equipment types.
- Install and connect wiring, and install new fuses, electrical cables, and other components as required.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective wiring, relays, safety switches, and interlocks.
- Perform electrical equipment operational checks and preventive maintenance checks.
- Comply with all electrical procedures and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of Navy/Maritime industry work-related experience as a Navy Electrician (EM) or Naval Shipyard Electrician.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
