Assistant Managers play a vital role in ensuring every guest is fully satisfied, not only with our doughnuts but with their overall experience in the shops. You will support and inspire team members, helping them realize their full potential. This role also provides an opportunity to develop business skills with the potential to become a General Manager someday!

Here's a Taste Of What You'll Be Doing

Guest Services

Assistant Managers serve as role models to team members and other Krispy Kremers. They set the tone for exceptional customer service, handle difficult situations professionally and humbly, and ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will maintain shop organization, answer phones, and communicate with Support Center teams as needed.

Sales

You will work with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, lead sales initiatives like Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and suggestive selling.

Production/Equipment

You will maximize efficiency in doughnut-making, understand quality control procedures, coordinate production schedules, and inspect equipment for issues.

Safety and Sanitation

Ensure the shop is clean and safe, prioritizing shoes, floors, and overall cleanliness.

People

Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising shifts, and demonstrating leadership.

Accounting

Help manage income and expense budgets, report sales, and other key information.

On the Move

This role involves physical activity such as lifting boxes (up to 75 pounds), decorating, packing doughnuts, cleaning, and customer communication. A valid driver’s license is required.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

You enjoy bringing joy to others, have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in sales and customer service, good communication skills, and a friendly demeanor. College experience is a plus.
