Overview

Production Operator at Niagara Bottling. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s safety, quality, and throughput standards.
  • Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly; perform physical and visual inspection of product to prevent non-conforming goods and report all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
  • Adhere to all safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations; follow Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas and any additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials to minimize production downtime.
  • Demonstrate aptitude to work in all assigned production areas; troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance as an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 2 Years – Experience in Position
    • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
  • Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
