Overview
Manufacturing Technician role at Teledyne Microwave Solutions (Teledyne Technologies Incorporated). Day shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Have experience in chem-film (alodine) process on metal surfaces
- Have experience with conformal coating on PCB, solvent tests.
- Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to process
- Able to work with chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Able to work with microscope, variable handheld tools, fixtures.
- Able to read and review work instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, nature of technical problem, substitution of material or parts
- Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational, environmental and life conditions to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model
- Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or procedures.
Education And/or Experience
Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field and at a minimum of 5-10 years of directly related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills And Abilities
- Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
- Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
- Knowledge to utilize manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeters, spectrum analyzers.
Other Qualifications
- US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
- $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Salary Range
$42,800.00-$57,100.00
