Overview

LB&B Associates is seeking a full-time Custodian for its contract to provide operations and maintenance services at the Silvio O. Conte Federal Building, Pittsfield, MA.

Working days/hours: Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Hourly pay rate: $20.33 per hour. This is a full-time position that offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and a pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of offices, breakrooms, and restrooms, including trash and recycling removal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and replenishing supplies.
• Carpet cleaning, shampoo/extraction, vinyl and tiling treatment, use of high-speed floor equipment and floor scrubbers as part of floor care.
• General office cleaning and sanitizing, including cleaning and sanitizing office space, breakrooms, and restrooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in general commercial or government building cleaning, including sanitizing.
• Hard surface floor care experience (stripping/waxing/buffing) highly desired.
• Ability to work in a federal building environment and perform essential cleaning tasks.
