The Custodian - Evening role at ADAMS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO 50 is available. The pay range for this position is $21.22/hr - $25.06/hr.
Job Description
The Custodian - Evening will ensure every child reaches their full potential by providing a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable learning environment for students, staff, and the community while sustaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain communications with supervisor and/or custodial staff.
- Maintain building safety by adhering to district safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain clean and safe classrooms, gym, weight room, auditorium, computer lab, library, cafeteria, public areas, etc.
- Maintain clean outside areas by checking, reporting, and taking necessary actions to correct vandalism.
- Maintain clean and safe restroom/locker room facilities.
- Perform detailed intermission cleaning according to the Custodial Academy Procedure Book.
- Provide services to the District by completing in-building work orders, removing and returning furniture, and raising and lowering flags.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working as a District Custodian Trainee desired.
- Skill in cleaning procedures, techniques, and handling chemicals.
- Operating knowledge of custodial equipment and snow blowers.
- Ability to safely clean and move furniture.
- English language skills required. Bilingual desirable.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Personal computer and keyboarding skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
