Responsibilities

• General Cleaner responsibilities for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
• Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

General Cleaner — Essential Functions

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, floor stripping and waxing, trash removal, recycling, restroom and locker room cleaning and sanitizing, exterior cleaning within 10 feet of entryways, window washing, cleaning desks/walls/furniture/doors/entry glass/other interior surfaces, blinds and light fixtures.
• Other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or designated representative.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus

Physical and Working Conditions

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
• Mobility to perform tasks within production and service timeframes
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
