As a forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility. Schedule: Various Shifts Available: 12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights | Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm | Monday - Friday, 11am-7:30pm.

Starting Pay: Swing Shift - $21/hour | Monday-Friday $18/hour.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Unload and upload large lumber like material.
  • Identify damages.
  • Report shortages.
  • Report quality deficiencies.
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations.
  • Inspect machinery.
  • Determine the need for repairs.
  • Keep updated records of inventory.
  • Produce activity logs.
  • Comply with company policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in keeping a safe environment.

Background / Experience

  • 2 years of experience operating an industrial type forklift.
  • Ability to operate a forklift in various environments and conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Valid Driver's License.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional bending and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
  • Ability to enter and exit forklift multiple times per shift as well as climb onto and off the forklift.
