Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring for a First Shift Stand Up Reach Truck Forklift Operator in North Aurora, Illinois.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $28.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour shift differential
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (4/10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; adapt to a diverse work environment
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods
• Flexible scheduling and availability to work various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
