Overview

Forklift Operator role at RGL Logistics. We are seeking a positive, motivated self-starter to join our Appleton team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The base pay range is $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner, recording all necessary paperwork.
• Transport product to storage areas using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store product.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Check product for accuracy in inventory, damage and infestation and complete paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the facility.
• Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment, including looking in the direction of travel, wearing a seat belt, driving at an appropriate speed, and appropriate use of the horn.
• Sweep and clean area, including trailers, as needed.
• Abide by all company rules and policies in regards to conduct and safety.
• Demonstrate a 3-point stance for mounting/dismounting the forklift and wear the seat belt during operation per OSHA regulation.
• Utilize RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System.

Physical Demands

Physical requirements: Sitting, talking, hearing, and vision are required most of the time; standing and walking are required frequently; lifting of 10–40 pounds may be required; bending, twisting, and climbing are less frequent.
