Forklift Operator Job at 48forty Solutions in Atlanta

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll load and unload trailers with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving safely and efficiently. We’re looking for a motivated individual who will maintain a safe and efficient pace.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

S River Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30315

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to the proper location inside the plant
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate work areas
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas up to a safe height
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials in coordination with plant personnel

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, construction, or related fields strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
