BC Wood Products Logistics team is growing, and we are looking for a Bilingual Forklift Operator at our Richmond, Virginia location (Formally known as American Pallet). The perfect candidate would safely operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count pallets/lumber. This role requires effective communication with team members and supervisors in both Spanish and English, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: Starting at $15-$18/hr

Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. w/ OT available on weekends

• 2 weeks paid vacation after probationary period. More vacation earned with time at company.
  
  

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, containers, and pallets.
• Verify the accuracy of product counts and documentation.
• Inspect equipment for defects before and after use, and perform basic maintenance or report issues as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments in both Spanish and English.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
  
  

• 1-2 years of proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to forklift operation.
