Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, pull pallets of finished product from production lines, and place finished product in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system.
- Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Plan supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule and scheduling deliveries to production areas.
- Retrieve supplies and materials by studying specifications; locate and verify supplies and materials; secure pallets on the truck; move pallets to production locations.
- Maintain inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
- Clear production areas by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets.
- Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain forklift operation by following operating instructions, troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
- Experience in the position
- Experience managing people/projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years – Experience working in the position
- 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
Experience may include a combination of work experience and education. Must safely operate a sit-down motorized forklift and navigate a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Education
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Certification/License
