A newly renovated modern general dentistry practice in a quiet Arlington neighborhood on Mass Ave. is offering a position for a Dental Hygienist, part-time or full-time. We have updated equipment and instruments, one-hour hygiene appointments and dedicated parking.

We are a one doctor, low volume new construction office looking for a professional, kind, dependable Dental Hygienist to join our caring staff and make a real difference in the lives of patients by encouraging excellent dental health. Applicants should have at least two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.

We are looking for the right person to fill this position and will offer salary and benefits accordingly. (Paid sick days, paid holidays, vacation time, health coverage, 401(k) matching Retirement Plan).

Compensation

$50 - $60 hourly

Responsibilities

  • Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
  • Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily
  • Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work
  • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills

We are a modern dental practice located at 281 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington. The office is fully digital, CEREC, CBCT, and digital X-rays. We work as a team to help ensure a balanced and supportive environment for the entire team, and make the days go by as smoothly as possible.
