Cincinnati Dental Services - Edgewood - Freedom Park is looking for a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Overview

As a Dental Hygienist at Cincinnati Dental Services - Edgewood - Freedom Park, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, delivering time and care patients need with support from a Hygiene mentor program and educational offerings to enhance your clinical skills. Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care as part of the patient care team.
• Participate in the Hygiene mentor program and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills.
• Collaborate with a practice manager and on-site team to deliver high-quality care and patient education.
• Utilize the highest quality supplies and labs to deliver exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical experience is a plus; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to provide preventative care and maintenance of patients’ dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
