Senior Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center
Join our dynamic Emergency Department as a Senior ER RN where you'll make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a vital member of our Level II Trauma Center team, you'll provide critical care to patients while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in emergency medicine.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead emergency patient care delivery through expert triage, assessment, and treatment for all age groups
- Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with measurable outcomes
- Coordinate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and interdepartmental teams
- Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
- Mentor less experienced staff while promoting a culture of safety and excellence
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellence in multi-tasking and prioritization skills
